Mr. Guru Prasad was born and brought up in a humble lower middle class family in Bangalore. He graduated in Electronics & Communication from Sri Jayachamarajendra College, Mysore in 1990. Due to circumstances at the time, he was forced to switch to an entirely new field and co-founded a Sheet Metal Fabrication workshop in the 50 square feet garage of his house. This workshop moved to bigger spaces and eventually turned into one of the country’s biggest world class manufacturing facilities for Modular Furniture & Interiors spread on a 23-acre land in Bangalore. Guru has played a significant role in the expansion of the company and has helped the company reach new heights on a Global scale. He, being a first-generation entrepreneur has been a role model for 1000s of employees many of whom, later setup Small Businesses on their own.
In 2017, Guru established Neo Alchemy Build India LLP aiming to explore business opportunities in various fields. He has given opportunities to people to contribute and successfully complete projects of all scales. Guru continues to provide Modular Furniture & Interior solutions to Offices, Institutions and Residences and supports manufacturers through contract manufacturing under Neo Alchemy. He has always been inclined towards the field of construction and has been a consultant to a few Industrial and Residential construction projects in and around Bangalore. He has also setup a business division within Neo Alchemy for the supply and application of building materials. He encourages Product Design & Development and prefers to create unique products and solutions. He has helped Neo Alchemy reach greater heights by venturing into exports.
